about me

Born to a Portuguese mother and Brazilian father with Italian heritage, my upbringing was immensely rich in regards to culture. I studied at an international school, where I became fluent in English and also learned Spanish and German.

I’ve always found my safe space in books and films so when the time came to pick a career path, I knew writing would be the way for me. Throughout my degree in Communication Sciences, which I got from NOVA FCSH in Lisbon, I found my passion for fashion and that’s when I set my major career goal: to become a journalist at Vogue Portugal.

My major goal actually became the first step in my career, as I started working at Lighthouse Publishing, which prints Vogue and GQ Portugal, as soon as I graduated, in June 2021. I became a permanent member of the team and I wrote for both Vogue and GQ Portugal magazines, as well as for the websites, for about a year and a half. My specialties are all things culture, society, and sex - I’m proud to say I created Eros, the sex column in GQ Portugal. I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing upcoming artists, actors, and designers, as well as talking to people at music festivals and around Lisbon about the most various subjects.

In my freelance journey, I've had articles and interviews published in international titles such as CAP 74024 and It's A Passion Thing magazine.

Other than writing and watching all the found footage horror movies, you can always find me in the kitchen. I make a mean lasagne (thanks, Dad, for the family recipe) and the coziest oatmeal cookies - if I weren’t a journalist, I would probably be a baker. Well, for now I’m a very fulfilled journalist.
